Jordanelle Reservoir
The Jordanelle Reservoir is on Provo River between Francis and Heber City, Utah. The reservoir is a short drive from resort community of Park City and is a popular destination for water sports enthusiasts. The Reservoir was a key component to the Central Utah Project. The dam was completed in 1992 and quickly reached capacity with the waters from the Provo River. Construction of the dam submerged the towns of Keetley and Hailstone.

The elevation of the lake is 6,200 feet with a surface area of 3300 acres. Bald Mountain (elevation 9,346 ft) in the Deer Valley Resort is due West of the lake.
State Highway 248 runs to the north of the lake. State Highway 32 runs between Kamas and Heber on the Southeast of the Lake. US Highway 40 was expanded to a 4 lane divided highway and runs on the West end of the lake.
