Museum of Western Colorado Tower
If you are visiting the beautiful town of Grand Junction on Colorado's Western Slope; You will want to plan a visit to the Museum of Western Colorado. This facility provides historical and cultural exhibits. The highlight of the facility is a large observation tower that is about 5 stories high.
The desk clerk suggested that I take the elevator. I took the stairs. Five stories does a good job stretching the legs without breaking a sweat. The tower provides views of Grand Junction, Colorado National Monument and the Book Cliffs.
The other must see exhibition in Grand Junction is the Western Colorado Botanical Gardens which features butterflies from around the world and an intriguing collection of plants.
