A Final Pecan (2018-03-09) I captured this little mouse a week ago. 17` of snow fell on the night I captured it and it was below zero at night. Today, I gave it a final pecan and released it at Pete's Rock.

Mt Olympus Trail (2018-03-09) This is the start of the Mount Olympus Trail at Pete's Rock.

Caught Mouse (2018-03-10) This poor little mouse was caught in a Havahart trap and was forthrightly put into mouse prison for a week ... as we waited for the snow to melt. We gave it some water and a leaf.

Pete's Rock (2018-03-09) Two climbers conquer the middle section of Pete's Rock.

Release (2018-03-09) We kept this poor little mouse captive for a week while the snow melted. This is its final moment of captivity before release.

Fallen Oak Tree (2018-03-10) Our oak tree fell over during a huge storm.

A Mouse Visits the House

Some mice got in the house and chewed into a box of oatmeal along with some of our spaghetti.

I put out Havahart Traps (buy at Overstock.com) and captured several. I had been releasing the little critters.

I released the Mouse at Pete's Rock which is also the trailhead for the Mount Olympus Trailhead.

Anyway, I caught a mouse during a bitterly cold snow storm that left 17 inches of snow on the ground. The wind before the storm knocked over our oak tree. This gallery will show pictures of the mouse, the tree and the mouse's release.
