Pedicularis racemosa (2006-07-28) I believe this blurry image is of a Pedicularis racemosa (Parrots-beak). Wikipedia lists the flower in the Orobanchaceae family. Older books put it in the Scrophulariaceae family.

The Scrophulariaceae (figwort family) is currently being rethought. After molecular analysis, botanists moved the Indian Paintbrush from the Scrophulariaceae Family to the Orobanchaceae Family and made changes to members of the Lamiales order.
Having learned how to pronounce Scrophulariaceae, I think I will keep both Families on this page until I have enough pictures to justify making a change.
