Toilet Paper Run (2020-03-14) There was a run on toilet paper as people prepared for the Corona Virus

Bare Meat Counter (2020-03-14) This one surprised me. People bought up all except the most expensive cuts at the meat counter. I was planning on getting some chicken to make a stir fry tonight, but now need to change plans.

Eggs Were the First To Go (2020-03-14) I was told that shelf with eggs was the first section cleared out. I guess people figured that if the pandemic went on long enough they could use the eggs to hatch chickens.

Dairy Section (2020-03-14) The dairy section held up fairly well. I was told that dairy was cleaned out of other local stores. Of course, this store has a huge refrigerator; so perhaps they restocked mid day.

Empty Bread Shelves (2020-03-14) This one surprised me. People bought out all but the super expensive bread on the near section of the shelves. The store has an in store bakery and the in store section was still well stocked.

Line at Home Depot (2020-04-13) They limited the number of people at Home Depot and had us stand in a line six feet apart.

Good Deed Punished (2020-04-24) I supported a local restaurant yesterday by ordering take out. I woke up today with a hint of food poisoning, leaving me wondering how long that clam chowder was sitting in that pot at the store.

Covid Mask (2020-08-05) This is my COVID19 Mask.

Discarded Masks are a Biohazard (2020-08-25) I've encountered a huge number of discarded masks during my walks. I would like to remind people that face masks are a biohaazard.

Rib and Chop House (2020-08-26) The Rib and Chop House 140 South 300 West appears to be a victim of the COVID19 recession. The restaurant is part of the Finally Restaurant Group.

School Requiring Masks (2020-08-29) This is a sign at Churchill Junior High requiring the students wear masks.

Covid Mask (2020-08-29) This is a discarded mask on school property. Discarded masks should be treated as a biohazard. I would not pick up one with bare hands.

Discarded Mask (2020-10-19) Another discarded mask. This one was in Sugarhouse. Does it have COVID. Is it a biohazard or just litter?

Campus Closed (2021-05-04) I discovered a sign saying that the campus was closed and vacated the premises.

Dead Diner (2021-06-13) The Blue Plate Diner in 21/21 district closed during the pandemic.

Discarded Masks (2022-01-18) The world is being covered with discarded COVID19 masks. These things all should be treated as biohazards.

First the good news. I bought a smartphone. I can now discreetly take pictures in places where I dare not take my DSLR.

Now for the sad news. People are freaking out about the spread of the Coronavirus (CORVID 19). There was a run on my local grocery store; So I used my new smartphone to snap some discrete photos.
