Natural Arches and Bridges

There are few things more spectacular and worthy of a photograph than an natural arch or bridge. Natural arches and bridges are supported spans of rock created by erosion.

Natural Arches are generally caused by wind erosion. Natural bridges are formed through water erosion.

Corona Arch Trail (31 pictures) Corona Arch Trail features three arches in the Navajo Sandstone formation. The trail displays a variety of alcoves and other interesting formations.
Arches National Park (151 pictures) Arches National Park near Moab has the largest concentration of Arches anywhere in the world. These arches were formed in fins of Entrada Sandstone.
