SLC Inversion (12/31/2016) After the last storm a dense fog has settled in on the Salt Lake Valley. I hope the fog does not settle in to a dangerous inversion. The cold temperature and high humidity created some interesting frosting on the trees.
Lunatic Fringe (10/16/2017) The Lunatic Fringe is growing in Utah. Want proof? This is their new building in Holladay.
Salt Lake Sears Closing (01/19/2018) This took me be surprise. The three story Sears on State Street and 700 South closed. I really thought that this would be one of the last Sears to close.
Crank SLC (01/19/2018) This is a bike shop at 749 State St, Salt Lake City, UT. I did a web search which indicated that the store might be closed.
Yellow Building (01/20/2018) This is a new construction at 200 East 600 South in Salt Lake City. The location used to house the Salt Lake City Public Health Center.
A Sea of Cars (01/20/2018) A sea of cars in downtown Salt Lake. The center building is Liberty Metro.
Salt Lake City is the capital and largest city in Utah. It is seated at the foot the majestic Wasatch Mountains. Salt Lake was the host of the 2002 Winter Olympics. As the result, there was a great frenzy of construction just before the games. If you wish to learn more about the city, please visit Salt Lake Sites. This is a large open directory with links to several thousand local web sites. The Salt Lake Photo category lists other galleries from Utah's Capital City.
