The Uinta Mountains The Uinta Mountains is the tallest mountain range in Utah. Kings Peak (13,528 ft) is the tallest mountain in the Range. The range is located in the Northeast section of the state and is about an two hour drive from Salt Lake City .
The Uintas are unique in that they runs East to West (most of the Mountain Ranges in the Americas run North South.
