I guess tree roots extend to the closest water source. K Nex Assembled (2009-12-10) The kids assembled the K'Nex. Hmmm, I think the track loops should be a little bit higher. I need to get one of these toys for myself. K Nex Configuration (2009-12-10) A configuration of a K'Nex construction set. Fiber Optic Christmas Tree (2009-12-21) About a decade ago, we picked up a fiber optic Christmas tree in an after Christmas sale. The trees are a delightful Christmas decoration and seem to hold up well through the years. License Tags (2010-01-01) With the yearly registration renewal, we get a new year sticker. I will replace this O9 with a 10. Lost Glove (2010-01-01) A lost glove was propped up on a barbed wire fence in Neff Canyon Grand Piano (2010-04-30) A Grand Piano on display in a large house. Chair Lift (2010-06-05) This car has a really cool lift to carry a wheel chair. Halloween Treats (2010-10-30) Here's what I'm laying out for the trick-or-treaters. Yep, pencils. You get candy and pencil. Now back to school you little urchins. Bah, bah on you all and a merry humbug. (Actually, the kids are grabbing the pencils). Trick or Treat (2011-10-30) This is the treats for the tricksters tonight. I am cutting the candy with pencils. It will be interesting to see if they grab for the pencils or the candy. Jackon Pollock Puzzle (2010-10-26) My brother gave me a Jackson Pollock Puzzle for my Birthday. A splatter art puzzle is quite infuriating. Round Bottom Wok (2012-06-15) My favorite tool for campfire cooking is a round bottom wok. A wok, by definition is a round bottom cooking vessel, but all the woks at the store have flat bottoms. It took me months of searching to find a round bottom wok. Wok Patina (2012-06-15) Since I am cooking outdoor, I cured this wok on a rocket stove with is a bit like a traditional wok stove. Wok (2012-06-15) I gave this away as a birthday present. Katom has a great price on cookingware, but I can't afford the shipping. Reuse Packing Paper (2013-05-24) Due to the hard water in Salt Lake, I replace the swamp cooler pads once a year. I really appreciate that this brand of pads has no printing on the back side of its product allowing me to reuse the paper for wrapping gifts. Snow on Fence (2014-04-01) We had another Spring snow on April 7th. My neighbor's downed fence makes a good snow gauge. Whiskey Bottles (2014-02-26) It turns out that drinking large quantities of whiskey for a sustained period of time is not a wise health decision. For example, if you drained one of these bottles a week for 20 years, you will end up with severe health problems. New Balance Shoes (2015-02-22) I bought a pair of New Balance Shoes and pedometer for an ambitious new project. I will use the pedometer in an online fitness program in which one's vagabond spirit hikes the epic trails of the mountain west. Polygamy Porter Nitro (2016-06-29) A bottle of Polygamy Porter Nitro. Smashed Mail Box (2016-12-18) In the never ending war between mail boxes and snow plows, the snow plows win. This brick mail box in the Olympus Cove was no match to the powered blade. BTW, I like the little pedestrian bridge leading to this house. 96 Pictures: 0-20 , 20-40 , 41-60 , 60-80 , 80-96 Objects This page shows images of objects that I decided to photograph.
