The egg crate pad is extremely comfortable ... but I've found it does not give the insulation of a thermorest. Effluence (2006-06-07) The lid from a coffee cup bobbing up and down in Siver Lake. Community Color Banana (2007-02-26) For a modest price. The Web Site Banana Name will write your web site's name on a banana. Footprints (2007-02-28) These are the footprints of the person who stole my 78 year-old parents' snowblower. It looks like they will have to go back to shoveling. Someone else stole their snow shovel earlier this year. Wounded Skeet (2007-03-03) The Mack Road was covered with remnants of skeets. Is skeet shooting on a public road a good idea. Heck yeah. It's the desert. Found Guilty (2007-03-19) Coco's dog food was tried and found guilty. There was a product recall on chunky products of dog and cat food from MenuFoods. The fact that companies were very proactive in getting the food off the shelves makes me happy. Innocent Dog Food (2007-03-19) Having found Coco's dog food guilty, she now is eating homemade stuff ... the lucky dog. Lighting (2007-09-22) This is the lighting that I have in my office. The big bulb is something that I got way back in 1995. Cell Phone (2008-03-01) I found a cell phone. It was in a drainage ditch that feeds the Salt Lake Water Supply. A Long Walk (2008-11-19) I just had to buy this for the blue label. I think it is great that cattle get a chance to see the world. If the label is true, then this cow did one long walk. Note, the meat was a little tough. Fixing the Leak (2009-03-21) To fix the leak, I had to replace the two rusty things with the shiny things using the piped shaped tool in the background. Downed Plane (2009-03-28) I came across this downed kite plane in a snowdrift on the Churchill Junior High playing field while on a walk with Coco. I wonder if it was lost the field, or lost somewhere in Salt Lake and just happened to land in the field. Flag Stone Walk (2009-04-14) A parking meter in snowy fog. Air Force One Fly Over (2009-05-07) This awe inspiring image of Air Force One ascending above the Statue of Liberty cost a paltry $328,835 in taxpayer's dollars. Tax funded photos are public domain. So, please, feel awed and amazed. Rock Solid (2009-04-14) While replacing a fancy new appliance that broke after a few years, I decided to take a snap shot of our 1951 KitchenAid mixer which still churns away after a great many productive years. Constrasted with Bricks (2009-04-14) I took a second shot of the blender to see it contasted against brick. Click to see it contrasted against stone. Dumpster (2009-07-06) Each year the County lines the streets with these big dumpsters. I rarely have anything to put in them. Slow Food (2009-07-16) Image includes a variety of squash from the East Farm CSA Stainless Steel Thermos (2009-08-06) NewWaveEnviro brags about the durability of stainless steel. I took a picture of a stainless steel thermos that my folks have been using for about fifty years. 96 Pictures: 0-20 , 21-40 , 40-60 , 60-80 , 80-96 Objects This page shows images of objects that I decided to photograph.
