Boise River

The Boise River is a 75 mile river with a 4100 square mile drainage basin. The river starts on the Western slopes of the Rugged Sawtooth mountains, flows through the state capital to join the Snake River at (GPS 43.820833, -117.026111) -- upstream of Hells Canyon.

The river is the central component of the Boise Green belt and is a popular float trip for urban travelers.
